Babalab Laser Beauty Space — Landing Page

Full-cycle design and development of a landing page for Babalab's most advanced service line — laser treatments powered by the Alma Harmony XL Pro system.

Project overview

Babalab has been redefining beauty in Poland since 2017: 8 years, 3 cities, 7 salons. But their Alma Harmony XL Pro laser, a professional medical-grade system capable of five distinct treatment types, needed its own digital home. A space that communicates technology, precision, and clinical expertise from the very first second.
The core challenge was positioning. Babalab isn't a typical beauty brand, and this page couldn't look like one. The landing had to shift the visitor's perception immediately, from "beauty salon" to "laser innovation lab," and then guide them easily through a complex service offering toward a clear action: booking.
Five treatments, three interchangeable laser attachments, a multilingual audience, zero room for confusion. But unlike a standard informational page, this one had to earn attention first.

My role & approach

From the first competitor audit to a live multilingual site, I owned the full design and led the project across disciplines, collaborating with motion designers on the 3D animation and with developers on implementation. My approach was to treat this not as a beauty landing page, but as a product launch for a piece of precision technology.
Every decision was made in service of one goal: make the Alma Harmony XL Pro feel like the most credible, advanced solution in the room, and make booking feel like the obvious next step.
Special attention was given to three things: building a visual language that reads as technological rather than decorative; structuring five complex treatments into a hierarchy that is instantly scannable; and integrating a 3D-animated render of the laser device as the page's centerpiece, replacing generic beauty imagery with the actual product.

Process

Research & Analysis The process began with a deep audit of the laser beauty and medtech space, analyzing how competitors communicate clinical technology, where trust breaks down for first-time users, and what visual language signals expertise vs. generic aesthetics. This informed every structural and visual decision that followed. Moodboard & Design Concept The visual direction was built around one tension: light and clinical, but warm enough to not feel cold. White-dominant palette, precise typographic hierarchy, cold accent tones, closer to a premium tech product than a spa. I developed a moodboard drawing from medtech UI, high-end product sites, and precision aesthetics, then aligned on a single direction before any design began.
UX/UI Design With the concept approved, the full desktop experience was designed in Figma. The page structure was engineered to guide the visitor through a specific journey: establish the technology, introduce the device, present the treatments, show results, remove objections, convert. Each section has a defined role. In parallel, in close collaboration with a motion designer, the 3D-animated render of the Alma Harmony XL Pro was created and woven throughout the page, becoming one of its most distinctive and memorable elements. Mobile Design The full layout was adapted for mobile with the same level of care as desktop. Not a scaled-down version, but a reimagined layout optimized for touch, scroll behavior, and smaller viewports. The 3D animation, service cards, pricing tables, and before/after results all have dedicated mobile treatments.
UI Kit & Handoff Before development, I built a complete UI kit in Figma: a structured component library covering buttons, typography styles, form elements, service cards, pricing modules, and all interactive states. Everything was named, organized, and annotated for clean handoff. The developer received a file they could work from directly, with zero ambiguity. Development The site was built in clean, semantic code with no page builder bloat and a fully custom theme. Performance, accessibility, integrations, and multilingual support across four languages were built in from the start. A custom WordPress admin panel was built so the Babalab team can independently manage text, pricing, services, before/after results, FAQ, and other content without needing a developer for routine updates.
The result is a digital experience that earns attention before it asks for anything. Visually compelling, technologically credible, and structured to convert, the landing page positions Babalab's Laser Beauty Space exactly where it belongs: at the forefront of innovative laser beauty in Poland. Clear enough for a first-time visitor. Impressive enough to make them stay.
