Termoli is a coastal city in Molise, where ancient streets meet the sea, and stories unfold between history and everyday life. Through a competition brief by TerraViva, we were challenged to design a new visual identity that could capture this dual rhythm: rooted in local heritage, ready for future growth.

We developed a modular, responsive brand system made for movement: from street signs to digital tools, tourism materials to institutional use. Inspired by the city’s key landmarks (the Castello Svevo, the Cathedral rose window, and the daily presence of the sea), the logo system and visual language bring consistency across every touchpoint.

The design extends into custom illustrations, inclusive signage (with multilingual and accessible info), city maps, responsive web UI, stationery, and event communication.

Every element was part of a bigger system, not just visually consistent, but strategically connected. We designed tools that could adapt to different audiences while staying true to the city’s identity and pace.

All crafted to be bold, flexible, and human, a place branding project that lives with the city and grows with its people.
