Project Overview & Role

Led the migration of an existing Quip workspace into Notion, transferring approximately 200 pages across 48 Quip files while improving the overall structure, organization, and usability of the content.
The goal was not just to move files, but to rebuild the workspace into a cleaner and more scalable knowledge system.

About the Project

The original Quip workspace contained strategy documents, research, meeting notes, roadmaps, ideas, and reference material spread across multiple files.
I migrated the content into Notion, cleaned and reorganized it, and created a more structured workspace with dedicated areas for projects, documentation, databases, research, action items, and resources.

Responsibilities & Contributions

Migrated 48 Quip files and ~200 pages
Manually exported and rebuilt content in Notion
Cleaned and standardized existing documentation
Improved information architecture and navigation
Organized projects, research, meeting notes, roadmaps, and resources
Converted suitable content into structured Notion databases
Used AI-assisted workflows for cleanup and organization
Reviewed the final workspace for consistency and usability

Tools & Skills

Notion Quip Information Architecture Knowledge Management Content Migration Database Structuring AI-Assisted Content Cleanup

Key Decisions

Rebuild instead of copy The original structure was improved rather than recreated exactly as it existed in Quip.
Structure for future growth Content was grouped into clear categories and databases so the workspace could scale over time.
AI-assisted organization AI was used to speed up cleanup, identify action items, and organize large amounts of content more efficiently.

Outcome

Successfully migrated approximately 200 pages from 48 Quip files into a cleaner, structured, and future-ready Notion workspace.
The final system made documentation easier to navigate, maintain, and expand while preserving the important context from the original workspace.
