Stackdrop partnered with Greenly to build two key tools that support carbon footprint analysis and streamline client data collection.

First, we developed a carbon and ROI calculator that allows businesses to evaluate the financial impact of their carbon reduction strategies. The tool compares the cost of Greenly’s solutions (including optional NZCC services) with the potential gains from ESG initiatives, helping clients make better sustainability investment decisions.

Second, we created an OCR-powered invoice extraction tool to automate the data processing of annual utility invoices sent by clients in PDF format. This solution uses OCR and GPT to extract structured data, such as billing periods, meter numbers, and total amounts, from scanned invoices, even when multiple invoices are embedded in a single file.

The parsed data is used to calculate emissions and populate dashboards, saving the Greenly team hours of manual work while improving accuracy and scale.

Both tools were integrated into Greenly’s internal ecosystem, reducing friction in data workflows and supporting automated carbon tracking at scale.
