Boosted Enjoy Monday's Social Media Presence with Content Creation

I started out as just a writer for Enjoy Mondays, but quickly showed I could do so much more. When I came on board, they had basically no visibility on social—zero views, seriously! But I changed all that.

What I did:

Created engaging content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube

Designed eye-catching graphics that matched their brand

Produced video content that people actually watched (my first video hit 200 views!)

Created memes, shorts, and longer YouTube videos that kept people watching

The cool thing? I wasn't even hired to make videos or graphics! I was originally brought on as a writer, but I saw an opportunity to help them with their bigger goal: getting more people to know about Enjoy Mondays.

I had to figure out what actually works on YouTube—how to grab attention in those first few seconds and keep it while still delivering their message. It's not easy to balance creativity with the important stuff they needed to say, but I found ways to make it work.

The founder Travis often mentioned how much he loved the creativity in my videos and content. He was especially impressed that I went the extra mile to create visuals when that wasn't even in my job description!

My approach is pretty simple: I focus on what the audience really wants—the outcome, not just features. I study the audience first, learn their language, and use words they can relate to. That way, the content feels like it's speaking directly to them about their goals and dreams.
