About the Project
Carve Select is a bespoke B2B ceramic gifting brand built for organisations that believe a gift should carry more than a logo — it should carry a story. Founded with roots in London's independent craft scene and now expanding across India and the Middle East, Carve Select sits at the intersection of artisan craft, considered design, and high-value client relationships.
The brand needed to do something specific and difficult — feel premium enough, while remaining deeply human and rooted in the hands that made each piece. It had to speak to two audiences simultaneously: the decision-maker who values quality and discretion, and the artisan community whose work deserves a global stage.
During brand development, the most important considerations were: building a visual identity that felt neither too corporate nor too rustic, establishing a colour language rooted in the earth and the kiln rather than trend, and creating a typographic system that could carry both authority and warmth within the same wordmark.
Thought Process
The starting point was the material itself — clay, earth, texture, and the making process. The colour palette was drawn directly from the natural world of ceramic craft: terracotta, moss green, sunbaked sand, and soft clay. These weren't aesthetic choices made at a distance — they were chosen because they are the colours of the thing Carve Select curates.
The wordmark was built around a deliberate tension. "CARVE" in a clean geometric sans-serif signals precision and intentionality. "Select" in a flowing italic serif brings the warmth and personality of a human curatorial voice. Together they say: this is considered, and this is personal.
The brand system was then extended across every touchpoint a high-value client might encounter — packaging, social templates, pitch decks, and a website — ensuring that the experience of receiving a Carve Select gift begins long before the box is opened. Every element, from the oval gift box to the jute drawstring pouch to the "Each piece tells a story" inside lid, was designed to make the recipient feel that someone thought carefully about them.

3. Result
The result is a brand identity that holds its own in any room — from a collector in Dubai to an artisan's studio. Carve Select's visual language is distinctive, scalable, and deeply rooted in what the brand actually does and believes.
The identity has opened doors with high-value organisations across financial services, luxury real estate, and interior design in the UK, India, and the Middle East — creating conversations that would not have been possible without a brand that immediately communicates quality, craft, and intention.
More than a visual identity, it became the foundation for how Carve Select communicates its value — not as a gifting vendor, but as a creative partner that understands both craft and commerce. Every touchpoint, from the first email to the gift box itself, tells the same coherent story — and that consistency is what makes the brand trusted before a single order is placed.
