Where luxury meets the open sea My role was to bring this luxurious experience to life on social media. I developed a complete social media strategy, including teaser videos, Instagram stories, and posts, to showcase the cruise’s unique mix of indulgence, adventure, and empowerment. The goal was to create content that felt as exciting and immersive as the cruise itself.
What is the KK Cruise?
Killing Kittens has been at the forefront of lifestyle events for over 19 years, hosting world-class experiences that empower individuals and couples through a female-first approach. Now, KK is elevating their iconic brand to the open sea with the KK Cruise - an extraordinary luxury lifestyle journey that promises indulgence, adventure, and liberation in a way only they can deliver.
Project Brief & Vision
The KK Cruise represents a groundbreaking step for the brand, offering a unique luxury lifestyle experience on the ocean. The mission was to create engaging, immersive social media content that reflects the hedonistic, opulent vibe of the cruise.
The client wanted:
5 teaser videos to build excitement and anticipation for the event.
• A cohesive visual identity and tone of voice for the Instagram page.
Single post content, captions, and hashtag optimisation to create engaging and scroll-stopping social media content.
The goal was not just to produce visually stunning assets but to immerse the audience in the luxurious and adventurous world of KK Cruise, turning online interactions into sales.
Approach & Process
To bring the KK Cruise to life online, the process included:
1. Research & Planning:
• Collaborated with the client to gather key images, videos, and assets.
• Conducted in-depth research to identify the best content strategies, imagery, and video libraries that align with KK’s bold, empowering brand identity.
2. Content Creation:
• Developed a comprehensive content plan tailored for social media platforms, in this case Instagram and potentially on TikTok and Youtube Shorts.
• Delivered the first drafts of teaser videos within three working days for client review.
• Incorporated feedback promptly and finalised all assets, including revisions - within one week.
3. Execution:
• Crafted 5 dynamic teaser videos, optimised for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts to generate excitement.
• Designed 20 Instagram stories to highlight the voyage details, exclusivity, and inclusions, driving engagement and providing a sneak peek into the experience.
• Created 30 single post assets for Instagram, complete with compelling captions and optimised hashtags to maximize reach and engagement. Results
