PAOLO PINSA — Logo creation for a cafe

Paolo is a family-run pizzeria that specializes in the way it prepares pinza. The restaurant uses 3 types of Italian flour, and its unique recipe is kept secret. The task was to develop a logo for the restaurant, to convey its creative and unique atmosphere.

The main element of the Paolo logo is an abstract image of pinza, which symbolizes the movement of the hands of the pizza maker during the preparation of the dish. The logo is created from a single line that conveys dynamics and embodies the creative process of cooking. A classic serif font is used create the name of the restaurant, which creates a strong contrast to the rather “naive” design of the logo, while emphasizing the status of the institution.
