Blog Post [Freelance]

Introduction/Background

This was a personal project for a client. The client wanted to create a blog post but only wanted designs for a feedback section. The client had a cooking page and wanted feedback from a design perspective and customer service perspective to give feedback to her clients. I decided to incorporate both into a prototype/base layout project.

My Role

I created the blog post and self-taught her remotely over Zoom and Microsoft Teams how to create a blog post and design it. I taught her key words and how to speak to her clients in a manner that would give them a "home" feeling since it was a cooking blog. I used my experience in design and customer service. I not only created the blog post, but I also took time out to teach the client effective ways to provide the best customer service.

Results

My client absolutley loved the blog post layout. She now has a method to respond to her clients and customer base. She also learned how to create posts and effectively communicate with her customer base.

Personal Analysis/Feedback

This was my first time as a freelancer creating a project. I absolutely loved the one-to-one connection with my client. The ability to give feedback real time and connect with my client. This allowed me to grow in a new skill. I not only learned to just do the work for my clients, but also teach them when they want to learn. This allows to them to also grow their skills and always come back to me for feedback in the future.
