Vucar - Car marketplace web platform

Summary

In a course of 3 months, I have delivered a total of 10 jobs (of all scales), most of them were website designs with both PC & mobile screens (responsiveness). I focused on visual quality and seamless user experiences as those are the main criteria of assessment from the client team.

About the client

Vucar is a Vietnamese start-up focuses on providing customers with highest quality cars at the best price possible while ensuring a safe and stress-free experience for all parties involved. Vucar's main products consist of a web-based platform for users to buy, sell cars, look for analytics, etc. and web pages covering information & special events.

About the project

As the needs of users are now validated, Vucar now wants to take a further step to enhance their product quality by revamping the website interface & experience. Vucar seeks for visual & experience enhancement so that users visiting the web would feel "wow" and be able to find what they need. That's when I jumped in as a UX/UI Designer for the project.

Working process

My working process is consistent across different jobs to stabilize the workflow. These are the common steps:

1. Receive design brief from project manager: The brief consist of low-fidelity wireframes, functions list, requirements of style, patterns and brand guide.
2. Conduct visual & competitor research: Based on the brief, I conduct research of similar style, patterns, components and present to the team my preference with reasons. I also study local & global competitors of Vucar.
3. Design UI (responsive): After getting approve on style, patterns and components usage, I now deliver designs with the brief in mind. I design for 2 main screen size: Mobile and PC
