Escola de Condução Sapiência: Two-Page Website Build

Sulman Cheema

Sulman Cheema

Spec project for Escola de Condução Sapiência, published with the school's approval. A working two-page front end. Features that need a server, such as online payment and a student portal, are marked as belonging to the full build.

Brief

Enrolling at a driving school in Luanda means knowing which licence category you need, what it costs, which documents to bring and when lessons run. The site had to answer all of that in Portuguese, with prices in kwanzas, and still send people to WhatsApp or the front desk to confirm a place.

Architecture and design system

Categories, prices, documents and hours arranged across two pages and written in Portuguese for Angola.
A cream and near-black palette, a serif display face and a large S as the site's quiet mark.
The home page leads with the school's promise and three quick facts, then the licence categories with their totals, four steps from enrolment to licence and the weekly timetable. The information page holds the full price table, the document list, enrolment steps and a booking form.

Motion and visual delivery

A mobile menu, section highlighting, an FAQ and scroll reveals, with motion switched off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.

Impact

Two linked pages that work as a small website, also delivered as a 19 KB ZIP.
Prices in kwanzas, split into training and exam costs for each category.
Measured on the published build (Chromium 141, Lighthouse 12.8 desktop preset, October 2026):
Lighthouse performance 100 and SEO 100 on both pages: largest contentful paint 0.4 s, total blocking time 0 ms, layout shift 0.
21 KB of HTML per page, 5 KB gzipped.
34 and 37 keyboard focus stops, and 0 JavaScript errors with reduced motion on.
