Brief
Jered is a Cape Town videographer who films weddings, events and lifestyle work and makes motion graphics. Couples choose a wedding videographer on feeling as much as on price. The page had to feel calm and cinematic and still move someone from the first screen to an enquiry without a detour.
Architecture and design system
A quiet palette with a serif and sans-serif pairing suited to wedding film.
One page, one direction: an introduction, four services, recent films, a pull quote and an enquiry form, in that order.
The enquiry form is cut to four fields: name, date, type of event and a few words about the day.
Motion and visual delivery
Warm ivory, a serif display face and thin gold corner marks frame the page like a film still, down to a running timecode in the corner. Sections reveal as you scroll.
Impact
A one-page site that holds together from phone to desktop.
An enquiry path with four fields and no detours.
Measured on the published build (Chromium 141, Lighthouse 12.8 desktop preset, October 2026):
Lighthouse performance 100: largest contentful paint 0.4 s, total blocking time 0 ms, layout shift 0.
