The Problem
During my meeting with the CEO of RACE, we discussed the various challenges faced by their site's users. RACE offers a complex product catering to different user groups, such as investors, project proposers, investment committee members, and service providers. However, the original site suffered from a lack of clarity and cohesion, which hindered its ability to effectively engage each target user. The presentation of the product was inadequate in conveying its purpose, leaving visitors uncertain about its functionality. Furthermore, the user flow had not been thoroughly considered, resulting in breaks within the site and an overall unsatisfactory user experience.

I emphasized the importance of optimizing the section order on the website to enhance user conversion rates, as the current site was causing confusion and uncertainty among visitors. Recognizing the diverse needs of different target users, I proposed splitting up the landing pages and tailoring them to each user group. This approach enabled us to promptly engage visitors with targeted messages specifically designed to resonate with their interests and goals.

Furthermore, I suggested visually representing the site as a marketplace to provide instant clarity to investors, ensuring they immediately grasp that they can directly invest through the platform. By visually conveying this key information at a glance, we can effectively capture their attention and interest. Additionally, project proposers will be enticed to learn more about how they can list their projects on the platform, as the marketplace concept establishes a clear connection to their needs. Moreover, presenting the site as a marketplace not only caters to investors and project proposers but also makes it easier for regular users to comprehend the product's purpose and functionality, enhancing overall user understanding.

Recognizing the unique processes associated with each asset type, we delved into developing distinct user flows tailored to accommodate the specific requirements of each category. This approach allowed us to create a more streamlined and intuitive experience for users engaging with different types of assets. Additionally, I took the initiative to design a modular questionnaire specifically for project proposers. This questionnaire serves as a comprehensive guide, systematically leading project proposers through the listing process for each asset type. By implementing this user-friendly tool, we aim to simplify the listing process, ensuring project proposers provide all the necessary information efficiently and accurately.

In addition, I constructed the complete user flow for each user group, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the entire platform. For project proposers, I developed a user flow that guides them through the process of listing their projects, as well as a dashboard for managing projects and documents. Similarly, for investment committee members, I established a user flow that facilitates the smooth approval of projects, enabling them to easily review and assess proposals. For investors, I designed an intuitive user flow that enables effortless browsing and investment in projects, ensuring a frictionless investment experience. Lastly, I implemented a streamlined process for project proposers to accept payments, allowing them to seamlessly receive funds upon successful project proposals. By meticulously mapping out and refining these user flows, we aimed to enhance the overall usability and satisfaction of each user group on the platform.
