ACG Social Media Project: A Case Study

Introduction

Apex Catalyst Group (ACG) is a consulting firm that specializes in leadership development and EOS Implementation, and they hired me as a social media content creator and strategist to develop a comprehensive social media strategy and build a consistent presence. This case study details the problem-solving approaches I used to fulfill the project's requirements, the challenges I faced, how they were overcome, the revisions made to the project, and the impacts I made on the project.

Problem-Solving Approaches Used to Fulfill Requirements

To develop a social media strategy for ACG, I conducted a thorough analysis of their competitor’s social media accounts, identifying industry best practices, and worked with ACG to develop key messages and target audiences. I then created a content calendar to ensure that ACG's social media accounts were consistently updated with relevant and engaging content. Additionally, I established a process for monitoring and responding to comments and messages on ACG's social media accounts, ensuring that they did not miss any opportunities to engage with their audience.

Challenges Faced and How They Were Overcome

One of the biggest challenges I encountered was creating content that was engaging and relevant to ACG's target audience. To overcome this challenge, I conducted extensive research on ACG's target audience and identified their pain points and interests. I then created content that addressed these pain points and interests, which resulted in higher engagement rates.

Another challenge was to establish a consistent brand voice across ACG's social media accounts. To overcome this challenge, I worked closely with ACG to develop a brand voice that was reflective of their values and mission. I then created social media guidelines to ensure that all content posted on ACG's social media accounts was consistent with their brand voice.
