Summary: Pre-Production and Production of anime series Gamera: Rebirth.
Context: ENGI was the main production studio and they didn't have a proper 3DCG department in place. They needed a way to put a full 3dCG department in place to tackle this project.

My Role: CG Supervisor and Look Developer
Responsibilities:
Design and develop the full production pipeline.
Develop the shaders to match the vision of the Art Director.
Create tools to help speed-up production.
Hire and educate new recruits to the project.
Supervise the consistency of the output from the team.
Achievements and Results
The implementation was successful and frictionless.
A very good group of individuals joined the 3DCG department.
A production uber-shader was created and in use for other projects at ENGI.
The designed production pipeline is still in use.
Challenges Overcome
The amount of work versus the budget was not well balanced. I had to get creative with solutions that will speed-up production and diminish the low-times.
