During my four-year tenure as a Web Design Consultant, I embarked on a transformative journey, contributing to an educational tech platform's evolution from an early-stage startup to a flourishing entity in Silicon Valley. Throughout this trajectory, I collaborated closely with founders, project and product managers, and developers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the platform's identity, accessibility, and user experience.

Setting the Foundation: Early-Stage Startup to Educational Tech Powerhouse

Initially, I was tasked with designing a marketing website that resonated with the platform's mission and audience. This involved translating complex concepts into captivating visuals, effectively communicating the platform's value proposition. Concurrently, I built the platform's brand identity from scratch, crafting a compelling logo that encapsulated its essence.

A Unified Identity: Crafting Consistent Branding Across Platforms

The journey didn't stop at aesthetics. I created comprehensive style guides and a robust design system that established consistency across various touchpoints. This holistic approach ensured that the platform's visual language remained coherent, strengthening its brand recognition and fostering a seamless user experience.

One of the most significant accomplishments during my consultancy involved designing the Clever Single Sign-On (SSO) feature. This innovation revolutionized how 25 million students and teachers accessed their learning applications. By simplifying and securing their log-in process, I contributed to eliminating lost instruction time, thereby enhancing the overall educational experience.
