Veggie Logger

I had the opportunity to work on a fun and engaging project for Sidekick Health: the Veggie Logger. This Rive-powered feature was designed to help users effortlessly track their daily vegetable intake while maintaining an intuitive, joyful user experience.

The goal was to build on the success of our previous Water Logger project, creating a similarly gamified experience for vegetable logging. The primary focus was to make tracking healthy habits feel easy, controlled, and enjoyable.

Making the logging experience feel simple and approachable without overwhelming the user.

Maintaining consistency with Sidekick Health’s brand identity and building upon the existing Water Logger success.

Ensuring users could easily visualize their progress while avoiding over-logging or under-logging their vegetable intake.

We followed a minimalist and approachable design style, utilizing brand shapes and clean illustrations that represented different vegetables. I designed the motion flow to provide clear feedback to the user, guiding them through the process in a seamless, intuitive way.

Simple Interactions: Users could log their vegetable intake by tapping a plus button, which would reveal an outlined vegetable. The veggie only gets filled in when the user confirms their entry by pressing save, reducing errors.

Controlled Experience: The outlined-to-filled visual feedback allowed users to feel in control of their logging. This ensured users didn’t feel pressured to over-log or under-log, empowering them to make accurate entries.

Smooth Transitions: We created seamless transitions from the logging process to the success screen, leveraging principles from the Water Logger to ensure consistency in user experience. The animations were designed to be smooth and satisfying, keeping the user engaged.
