How to create an environment that not only showcases artwork but actively creates opportunities for emerging artists to thrive, whether through sales, collaborations, or other forms of artistic expression.

August is an artist who works as a full-time bartender to meet their financial needs. August aims to pursue an art career full time and is working towards finding financial stability in order to do so.

August showcases their work on social media platforms like instagram and facebook. They also have a personal website where prints and stickers are available for purchase. They try to make it to art shows, events, pop-ups and local markets as much as their schedule allows

August applied to be a vendor at the market. Gathered and printed all their pieces ready to showcase.

They received a phone call from their manager requiring them to work that weekend due to shortage of staff.

August now has to wait until the next market to showcase their art.

Emerging artists want to connect with their local communities, they have to develop a marketing strategy, spend time and money on building their presence while maintaining other jobs to meet their financial needs. This is a problem because time and resources available to emerging artists are hard to come by.

We want to create a space where artists are able to profit off their work allowing them to pursue their creative careers. We are bringing this world about through creating a platform where artists can sell their artwork locally with ease, low cost and efficiency.
