An homage to photographer Kishin Shinoyama

A personal project completed for a typography class at SVA. The project brief was to design a promotional poster and catalog for an exhibition currently taking place anywhere in the world. I chose the works of Japanese photographer Kishin Shinoyama, who was honored with a retrospective show at the Yokohama Museum of Art in 2017. Shinoyama is known for his early compositions of sculptural nudes, as well as intimate portraits of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
