I built my personal anti-library to turn a sprawling collection of books, films, television and albums into something I can explore and use. AI-assisted research and curation help organize material into shelves, connect works through thematic threads and shape reading and listening paths around my interests.
Turning collections into software
The software brings those decisions into a searchable public interface with sorting, expandable collections and dedicated creator and path pages. A structured data workflow normalizes lists and retrieves metadata, covers and reference links, keeping content updates separate from presentation.
This independently developed project shows how AI-assisted research, automation and custom software can turn a personal interest into a useful, explorable collection. The live site presents the curated results and the interface built around them.
Developing Anti-library Builder
From a personal collection to a product others can use. I’m now developing Anti-library Builder, an app designed to let anyone create their own anti-library with AI assistance. The goal is to turn the approach demonstrated here into a reusable experience: helping people organize what they want to explore, discover connections and shape collections around their own interests. The Builder is in development; the screenshots show the personal anti-library that informs it.
Built a searchable personal collection with AI-assisted research, thematic reading paths and automated metadata workflows. Independently owned project.
