Skitalice Belgrade is an underground nightlife series rooted in Belgrade’s electronic music scene. The project was built collaboratively from the start, with the broader concept shaped together with two contributors focused on the musical direction and cultural context, while I led the visual side of the project, developing its art direction and identity system. This case focuses on the second event in the series, held at Drugstore, where the visual language was pushed further to reflect the intensity and physical presence of the night.
Across the project, I developed the visual identity, event branding, art direction, poster design, social media assets, digital communication, and collaboration materials for Skitalice. The system was built to support nightlife promotion and music event communication across print and digital touchpoints, while giving the series a recognizable presence within Belgrade’s underground electronic music and club culture.
Because the project was rooted in underground electronic culture, the direction moved toward a more sensory visual world. The references came from nightlife ephemera, old print matter, body based imagery, low light photography, and materials that feel handled, copied, layered, and reused. This gave the identity a raw and human quality while keeping it visually intentional.
The direction was built through a black and white palette, oversized layered typography, sharp graphic fragments, and intersecting linear elements. These choices created a visual rhythm that feels intense, tactile, and rooted in underground nightlife culture. The lineup blocks were kept structured and readable, while the surrounding composition carried more pressure and movement.

Skitalica is a Belgrade-based party project for which I developed the full visual direction. My role included art direction, identity, promotional design, social media visuals, and collaboration support, visual language that could support event promotion, audience attention, and a stronger presence across different formats. The goal was to create a recognizable visual language for a nightlife project that needed character, consistency, and a stronger presence across different touchpoints. The system had to work for event announcements, posters, social media, digital promo, and collaborations, while keeping the energy of the scene and the atmosphere of the party intact. My role covered the overall art direction, key visuals, campaign materials, and the broader visual presentation of the project. The work focused on making the event feel cohesive, current, and easy to recognize, while also helping attract attention and build stronger visibility around each release and collaboration.
