Global Passport Designed a Modern Global Mobility Platform
The Challenge
Global Passport helps users explore, plan, and secure residency or citizenship in 80+ countries.
But their old web app had:
Cluttered layouts that overwhelmed users
Outdated visuals that hurt trust and engagement
A confusing all-in-one flow that made assessments and results hard to follow
As a result:
Users frequently dropped off after assessments
Key actions like “See Your Next Steps” were buried
The onboarding journey felt frustrating and unclear
Old Design – crowded and difficult to navigate
The Goal
We aimed to:
Increaseconversions with a simpler, more guided eligibility flow
Reduce drop-off by introducing staged navigation
Delight users with a modern design that reduces stress and cognitive load
New Design – modern, clean, and user-friendly
The Process
1. UX Audit
Identified friction points in navigation and results comprehension.
2. Wireframing in FigJam
Designed a new 6-stage eligibility flow:
Eligibility → Profile Builder → Document Retrieval → Processing → Application Builder → Submission
3. UI Redesign in Figma
Built a scalable design system
Used generous whitespace and clear color hierarchy
Applied progressive disclosure so users only see relevant info at each step
4. Usability Testing
Iterated quickly with the dev team to refine flows and reduce friction
5. Design Handoff
Delivered a fully spec’d design system for rapid development
New guided flow

Modern UI: Clean typography, neutral backgrounds, bold CTA colors
Guided Navigation: Step-based progress bars, Next/Back controls
Feature Accessibility: Persistent dashboard + quick search & filters
