The Challenge
CoinJuice started as a new business idea.
Andrew, a crypto trader and educator with 5+ years of experience in Bitcoin and Altcoins, wanted a platform to share deep market knowledge. The initial plan was simple: publish everything for free.
But early feedback revealed something important: this knowledge wasn’t basic. It was premium.
The challenge shifted from “how do we publish content?” to
“How do we turn expertise into a scalable, paid product?”
The Insight
After researching similar crypto platforms and reviewing user feedback, one insight stood out:
People were willing to pay not for news but for structured, opinionated, expert insights.
That insight changed the entire product strategy.
The Solution
I designed and built CoinJuice as a content-first, paywalled platform that balances accessibility with monetization.
Key features include:
Basic Auth & Paywall for gated premium content
Bitcoin & Altcoins live pricing
Advanced CMS for scalable publishing
Article search, filters & auto-tagging
Stripe integration for subscriptions
Automatic article-to-audio conversion for passive learning
The experience was designed to feel simple for readers and powerful for the creator.
The Outcome
Transformed a free content idea into a monetizable knowledge platform
Enabled Andrew to package and sell expertise, not just content
Built a scalable foundation for future growth (more content, formats, and pricing models)
CoinJuice launched as a product, not just a website.
What I Learned
Expert knowledge has real value but only when it’s positioned, structured, and delivered intentionally.
Design isn’t just about visuals. It’s about making value obvious and chargeable.
