Brand identity and web design for a coaching platform

My Role
I designed the brand identity and website for this new platform using Figma. The designs are currently being brought to life by their in-house developer.
The Challenge
Says came to me with a big idea:
He wanted a visual identity that was fun and approachable, but still looked polished and professional.
He also wanted a website that clearly communicated his story and mission while being functional and easy to navigate.
The Process
• We kicked things off with a strategy workshop and a branding questionnaire to dig into the heart of the business: what it stands for, who it’s for, its mission, challenges and goals.
• I then did a deep dive into the coaching industry, scoping out competitors and uncovering common pain points.
• From there, I put together a mood board to present the creative direction. After a couple of revisions, we landed on a visual identity that felt just right.
• With the brand nailed down, I moved onto the website design.
To make sure the site would genuinely resonate with its audience, I spoke with a bunch of coaches to understand what they’re looking for in a platform like this. Their insights were super important to shape the user flow and the messaging.
I used Relume.io to help speed up the wireframing process, then built the homepage mockup in Figma. After getting feedback and making a few changes, I rolled out the rest of the pages.
Once everything was approved, I had a handover call with their developer to make sure the build would go smoothly.
The Results
The site is still in development, but early feedback from the client and the coaches we involved in testing has been really positive. I’ll be updating this case study once the site’s been live for a few months and we have more data to share.
