Building ADPList from the Ground Up

As one of the very first Product Designers at ADPList, I collaborated closely with the co-founders, Felix Lee and James Baduor, to bring their vision of democratizing mentorship to life. From conceptualization to execution, I played a pivotal role in building the platform’s MVP, which directly contributed to ADPList raising its $1.3 million seed round in 2021.

• MVP Development: Designed the foundational product features—including the homepage, onboarding flow, user accounts, and calendar—that powered the platform’s launch and initial success.

• Promoted to Leadership: After helping secure the seed round, I was promoted to Lead Product Designer, where I led the creation of high-impact features that scaled ADPList’s reach.

• Explosive Growth: My designs were instrumental in growing the platform’s mentor base from fewer than 900 mentors in January 2021 to over 18,000 by July 2023, and the mentee base from 20,000 in August 2021 to over 150,000 across 70 countries.

• User-Centric Features: Delivered intuitive solutions that enhanced user engagement, including streamlining the mentorship scheduling process, refining onboarding, and optimizing the mentor-mentee connection journey.

• Global Impact: Helped solidify ADPList’s reputation as the go-to platform for mentorship, fostering professional growth for users worldwide.

This experience demonstrates my ability to design at scale, foster growth, and create meaningful, user-centered solutions that drive measurable impact.
