I was responsible for writing the copy for an email marketing campaign aimed at driving sign-ups for a client’s upcoming webinar and course for a health coach. The goal was to engage the client’s existing email list and encourage them to take action by registering for the event.
For this project, I crafted a series of emails designed to nurture the audience through different stages of the campaign—awareness, interest, and action. The first email introduced the topic, highlighting the value of the webinar and course, and addressing key pain points the audience was likely facing. I used compelling subject lines and preview texts to increase open rates, focusing on benefits like gaining expert insights, practical takeaways, and the opportunity to improve skills or achieve specific goals.
The second and third emails followed up with reminders and more specific details, such as the speakers, course outline, and what attendees could expect to learn. Each email ended with a strong call to action, using urgency (limited spots, upcoming deadlines) to drive conversions. I also made sure the messaging was aligned with the client’s brand voice, keeping it engaging, informative, and clear.
By tracking the campaign’s performance through open and click-through rates, I was able to optimize future emails, tweaking the copy for improved results. The campaign ultimately exceeded the client’s expectations by significantly boosting registrations for both the webinar and course.
