The Vibe: High-Performance Sports Media

I was brought on board to revitalize and optimize an existing sports media platform dedicated to Ghana Football. The goal was to transform a legacy application into a high-speed, crash-free experience that keeps football fans engaged with real-time updates and seamless navigation.

The application suffered from outdated architecture and stability issues, which hindered user retention. The primary mission was to modernize the codebase while simultaneously introducing features that drive user re-engagement.

Architecture Modernization: Led the migration to Null Safety, drastically reducing runtime crashes and ensuring a future-proof, stable codebase.

UI/UX Refinement: Polished the user interface to align with modern sports media standards, focusing on speed and intuitive content delivery.

Smart Traffic Routing: Implemented Deep Linking to allow fans to jump directly from external notifications or social media to specific match news and updates.

Data-Driven Growth: Integrated Firebase Analytics to monitor user behavior, allowing for informed decisions on feature improvements and content placement.

Successfully stabilized the platform and improved user retention rates. By focusing on performance and direct-to-content routing, the app became a more reliable and engaging hub for thousands of football fans.
