This proposal was developed for the National Opera of Paris as part of a website redesign initiative. The primary objective was to craft a captivating visual experience that seamlessly embodied the elegance and grandeur of opera. Additionally, the project involved redefining the visual language used to present performances and seating options, enhancing clarity and user engagement.

As the designer, my key responsibilities included: 1. Defining the design vision through thorough research.

2. Designing wireframes and interactive prototypes, including a smooth and user-friendly e-commerce flow.

3. Establishing a UI/UX process aligned with the project’s goals and the existing brand identity.

1. Discovery and Research I conducted in-depth research on the National Opera of Paris brand, competitors, and target audience. The objective was to strike a balance between simplicity and vibrancy—allowing the visuals to carry the UI.

2. Wireframing Guided by the research insights, I developed low-fidelity wireframes to outline the structure and layout of key pages. This phase focused on organizing content and navigation to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.

3. Design Building upon the wireframes, I created high-fidelity mockups that translated the vision into a clean, engaging design. The emphasis was on creating a feeling of being in a dark theatre illuminated by a key light, with some peripheral colors passing by.

The redesigned website, has successfully achieved its key objectives: 1. A clean, modern, and professional design that creates a compelling and engrossing experience 2. Showtimes and seating is represented in an easy to follow color coded UI which is much easier to navigate and understand.
