Kozak Buvette – Web Design & Webflow Development

A refreshed brand identity and improved menu experience for a Ukrainian restaurant.

Overview

Kozak Buvette is a Ukrainian traditional food restaurant offering authentic cuisine in a cozy, cultural setting. I was responsible for redesigning the website, rebuilding it in Webflow, and migrating the project from WordPress to a clean, high-performing Webflow environment. The site is multilingual and fully managed through Webflow + Weglot.

Challenge

The previous website lacked clear branding, visual consistency and accessibility. Colors, typography and layout were not aligned with the restaurant’s identity, making the experience feel outdated. The menu section was especially problematic: it was difficult to navigate and didn’t properly showcase the dishes. The challenge was to create a new visual direction, improve contrasts and accessibility, redesign the full menu experience, and deliver a modern multilingual website that communicates the restaurant’s personality.

Outcome

I delivered a fresh, clean and culturally aligned design that reflects the restaurant’s identity while improving usability and readability. The new menu structure provides a much clearer way for visitors to explore dishes, prices and categories. The site is fully migrated to Webflow, optimized for performance, and extended with Weglot for multilingual support. Interactions and animations were added using GSAP and custom JavaScript to elevate the experience. The final result is a welcoming, easy-to-navigate website that enhances the brand and makes it simple for customers to explore the restaurant’s offerings.
