Labana is an organic market located in México City.
The logo and the name are inspired on my granpa´s life journey. He moved from Spain to La Habana where he owned a hardware store. There he selled Mecate, a type of rope used for making baskets and bags.
Labana was born by encouraging people to do bulkshopping and avoid plastic and packaging waste by using mecante baskets instead .
