Mẹ Bahay Branding Restaurant

Alfinu Zafir

Alfinu Zafir

We built Mẹ Bahay for the days you miss your mother.
For the nights when the craving isn’t just for food—it’s for her voice, her hands, her kitchen light still on.
This restaurant lives in the space between homes.
It’s rooted in Southeast Asia, but shaped by distance by migration, by longing, by memory.
Our name Mẹ Bahay comes from “Mẹ” (Vietnamese for mother) and “Bahay” (Tagalog for home).
A quiet reminder: mothers make homes, even when they’re not here.
Our menu isn’t authentic to any single tradition—it’s authentic to feeling.
To third-culture kids, to overseas workers, to anyone who’s ever FaceTimed into family dinner.
It’s food made with instinct. Memory. Grief. Love. The mother tongue on a plate.
