I’ve been directing and doing hands-on design for the Mortgage and Loans stream for 1.5 years.

My biggest achievement during this time is taking from 0 to 1 a never-seen-before experience of applying for mortgage in a daily banking app with more than 3 million users.

I conducted extensive research, UI design, testing and presentation to stakeholders and bank design team.

In the end, we absolutely smashed KPIs — more than 50% of applicants now come through the app. This results in much better lead quality, 2.5x increase in conversions and lower operational costs as bank managers don't have to spend as much time on lower quality leads.

Some other things I did during my time with Raiffeisen:

— Revamped the lead generation form of the web mortgage application, increasing conversion and improving lead quality. I can't disclose exact numbers, but we almost tripled our conversion rates.

— Redesigned personal loan application and refinancing form, simplifying the process and increasing conversion two-fold

— Researched, designed and tested an MVP of "Pay later" functionality in the app

— Led a discovery process and a complete redesign of a partner portal for mortgage agents and real estate agencies.
