Overview 🔎

Fintech startup in the remittances sector wanted to launch in a new country. They asked me to create a marketing strategy specifically focusing on the target market, with the objective of creating a marketing plan that fostered word-of-mouth and community building.

Problem & Solution 🤝

As they were launching in a new country, they needed someone from inside the community to identify key opinion leaders and strategic hubs with the objective of building trust with the community.

Process 🛣

I created a marketing plan that included the following:

  • User acquisition goals for the first 3 months
  • Competitor analysis
  • Target market research: demographics, geographics, psychographics (behavior, lifestyle, interests), behavior with the product.
  • User research: Small focus group with target market
  • Customer journey
  • Key opinion leaders: community ambassadors, influencers, associations, organizations
  • Weekly launch plan from pre-launch to 3rd month (18 weeks)
  • Budget breakdown

Results 🎁

Country launch will be in Q3 2022.
