BACKGROUND
Unagi is a next-generation game studio founded by former Ubisoft executives, creating Web3 experiences that merge gaming, anime, and blockchain technology. With multiple on-chain games and high-profile launches, including the Persona IP, Unagi has positioned itself as a pioneer in blending traditional gamecraft with decentralized innovation.
CHALLENGE
As Unagi expanded beyond its initial projects, it needed a rebrand that captured its evolution into a bold, forward-thinking entertainment studio. The goal was to develop a cohesive narrative and visual identity that could work seamlessly across print, digital, video, and NFT platforms—while retaining flexibility to support flagship IPs like Persona.
SOLUTION
I led the complete visual redesign of Unagi, creating a cross-platform identity system supported by a refined narrative, motion design, and sound. The new brand language reflects Unagi’s ambition as a next-gen studio while staying adaptable to diverse IPs. The rebrand strengthened Unagi’s presence in the Web3 space, unifying its creative output and positioning it for future growth.
