CVector: Story, brand and website for industrial AI

We built the story, brand, and website for CVector's 24/7 margin optimization engine.
4-month partnership · 14 website pages · 8 motion pieces
Strategy & Narrative · Brand System · Website Design · Motion · Webflow Development

The starting point

CVector is an industrial AI company. Their system combines plant data with live market data and gives operators dollar-scored recommendations, 24/7.
The problem was not the product. It was the market noise. In this space, a buyer looks at 50 company websites and they all seem to do the same thing, with the same words. On top of that, many players in the market are really consulting engagements that never end, and CVector's core bet is the opposite: solving it with software.
One decision was made early, together: this website is built for the customer, not the investor.

"It's really hard to tell what they're trying to do and how to differentiate."

Richard Zhang, on the competitor landscape

The story

The positioning came from one question: when someone lands on this website with buying intent, what makes CVector the best choice out of the 50 they just saw?
The answer we built together: CVector's customer lives in an unstable world. Raw material prices swing. Equipment fails. The most experienced people are retiring, and the workforce is getting newer and fewer. That buyer is trying to buy certainty.
So the site puts CVector in the middle as the stabilizing force. Data comes in from the plant and the market. Recommendations come out, scored in dollars. The operator stays in control, and the system keeps learning.
Two words carry the whole narrative: volatility and uncertainty.
Just as important is what we left out. No "autonomous." No named agent characters. No AI buzzwords in the hero. Every competitor does that. CVector chose not to.

"You recognize we're living in an increasingly uncertain world. You're trying to buy certainty."

Website strategy
Messaging & narrative
Marketing knowledge base

The words

CVector's team had scrutinized and approved every word of their solutions and industry copy. We kept their words. Our job was to shorten them, sharpen them, and turn problem statements into benefits, not to rewrite what already worked.
What we delivered
Copywriting
Wireframes & page structure

The design

The design had to look like software, not consulting, and feel credible to a traditional industrial audience.
We built the homepage around one animated system: the plant in the center, market signals flowing into it, recommendations coming out. Every section carries motion: the problem section builds urgency, the how-it-works section shows the learning loop, the impact section stays clean and quiet.
Feedback stayed small and fast. When two buildings in the hero looked like commercial real estate instead of industry, we swapped them within a day, because that look belongs to building-efficiency software, and confusing buyers was not an option.

"Super concise. The design feels like modern art."

Richard Zhang, homepage review

"This section looks just beautiful, clean, very clear."

Product concepts

The product could not be told with static screenshots. So for the website, we designed product concept screens (a morning briefing, recommendation posts, live pricing views) in the new colors and the new visual language. Not the real interface, but a clear picture of what using CVector feels like.
Around the same time, the CVector team was updating their own product UI, and the new website's colors and design served as a reference in that work.

"Most of the layout was inspired by the new website design. We're updating our entire page to reflect that."

The result

In four months, CVector went from looking like everyone else to a story, a design system, and a website that are clearly theirs.
4 months: from first narrative session to launch.
14 pages: designed and built in Webflow as a system the CVector team runs themselves. Blogs, testimonials, and hero metrics, all editable.
8 motion pieces: the product explained through movement instead of static screenshots.
