A locked brand, a rebrand ahead, and a site that had to change now
Fonoa automates indirect tax for digital businesses: VAT, sales tax, e-invoicing and returns, across more than 120 jurisdictions.
The brief was a refresh inside the brand as it stood: the homepage, the four platform pages and three new Intelligence pages, built in Fonoa's own Figma and Webflow, with one decision-maker on their side.
The speed came from what we left out
Around 500 blog and CMS pages stayed as they were. Illustrations came off the inner pages. Static pages shipped first and motion followed from storyboards, so no page waited on an animation to go live.
A globe instead of a feature list
Coverage across more than 120 jurisdictions is hard to say in a sentence and easy to show. The homepage puts real checkouts on a turning globe, each one with its local tax worked out, and tells the product as a transaction rather than as a screen.
Each product shows itself working
Validate checks a tax ID as it is typed. Tax Engine converts a currency between a supplier and a customer abroad. E-invoicing routes one transaction to every country it touches. Each product hero was rebuilt square, around one action a visitor can watch.
Real content, not placeholder text
The motion is built from what the product actually does: filings moving out to each country's authority, a rule change in Belgium raising an alert. It reads as proof, not decoration.
The result
Live on the day Fonoa announced its $110M raise.
