When David reached out to me, they were facing multiple challenges with their existing site, including:
Hard time matching the brand styleguide with the landing pages Doorloop was launching for ads. They've been using drag-and-drop website builders with limited customization. and design freedom.
Doorloop's site speed was bad. The landing pages were having a lot of Web Vitals and optimization issues that gave Doorloop hard time leveraging SEO. On top of that, they were loosing money on ads as the landing pages they were taking the traffic took too long to load.
Doorloop wanted to move fast and build new pages for their marketing needs, including the ones for better SEO rankings.
Process
We started by migrating their entire site to Webflow, which back in 2020 was a big deal for Doorloop as they could move way faster and publish new pages in days, not weeks. Here's what we did to make sure Doorloop is getting the much-needed results:
Cleaned up the Figma file so it's easier to scale up the design.
Migrated the old site (including the CMS) to Webflow.
Created SEO-driven pages like Alternative To, Features, FAQ, and Blog.
Linked everything together to preserve the SEO juice and avoid any 404 issues
Optimized the site speed and fixed all issues that were present with the old site.
Created custom illustrations, web components, and brand collaterals so it's easier for Doorloop's marketing team to publish new content.
Offered Webflow training and SOPs so anyone Doorloop would hire could use Webflow and the marketing assets we've created.
Results
Doorloop is now a healthy website, that generates over 800k visits per month. Their sitemap includes hundred of SEO-optimized pages that are hard to beat.
