Stampbook

Stampbook is a travel journaling app that transforms trips into a collection of digital postage stamps.
Instead of organizing memories in folders or endless camera rolls, travelers collect beautifully designed stamps representing the cities they've visited. Each stamp becomes a gateway to photos, stories, and moments captured during that journey.
The goal was to make revisiting memories feel more like flipping through a treasured travel album than scrolling through a gallery.

Design Goal

I wanted the experience to feel:
Personal
Collectible
Nostalgic
Exploratory
Visually memorable
Rather than presenting destinations as simple folders, each location would become a collectible artifact users would want to keep and revisit.

Building a Stampbook

As users travel, their stamps are organized into a growing digital album.
The experience mirrors the feeling of collecting real-world stamps, creating a sense of progress and accomplishment with every trip.
The stamp system became the heart of the experience.
Instead of focusing on maps, timelines, or folders, I wanted every destination to feel like an achievement worth collecting. This shifted the product from being a photo organizer to becoming a personal travel archive.
The result is an experience that celebrates not just where users have been, but the memories they created along the way.

Outcome

Stampbook reimagines travel memories as a collection of digital keepsakes.
By combining collectible stamps, visual storytelling, and photo journaling, the concept creates a more emotional and memorable way to preserve travel experiences.
