Kevin Moore's Portfolio

Kevin Moore, a Senior Developer with 15+ years of experience, a 5-time author, and a Google Developer Expert, had an online presence that failed to reflect the depth of his career. He needed more than just a portfolio; he needed a digital manifesto that would communicate his core philosophy—"Simple Code, Powerful Impact"—and serve as a central hub for his two main passions: his books and his technical speaking engagements.

I led this project from end to end, handling everything from strategy and design to the final development.

Strategic Information Architecture: I designed a narrative flow that introduces him as a software craftsman, establishes his core principles, showcases his legacy (his books), and finally drives action toward his main passion: speaking invitations.

Minimalist Visual Design: I created a clean, typography-focused interface that mirrors Kevin's own philosophy. The design doesn't compete with the content; it elevates it, proving that simplicity can be both elegant and powerful.

Full-Stack Development: Going beyond design, I personally developed the entire high-performance static site using the Hugo framework. As a value-add, I also implemented a full blog structure—ready to be activated in the future—providing him with a tool to grow at no extra cost.

The result is a personal website that serves as a manifesto, portfolio, and marketing engine in one.

The client now has a "digital home" he is proud of, one that authentically represents his core values of craftsmanship, mentorship, and community.

The new site serves as a centralized and professional platform to promote his books and channel requests for speaking engagements.

A fully functional, custom-built site was delivered, meeting the technical requirement of hosting his app's privacy policy while also providing a scalable, future-proof blog solution.
