Fracture is a scroll-driven web experience built around a simple idea: what if a website moved like film instead of a page?

Instead of video, the site uses 150 individually rendered frames that respond to scroll position in real time giving full control over pacing, easing, and motion without the overhead of a video file. The sequence is compressed to under 4MB and decoded on canvas, holding a smooth 60fps scrub even on mid-range mobile devices, with a static fallback for reduced-motion users.

Designed the frame sequence and pacing before any code was written

Built scroll choreography with GSAP, pinning timelines to specific scroll ranges

Layered in type systems, grain, and lighting so the motion feels intentional, not decorative
