US is a premium unisex skincare brand, designed and built end to end as a concept. The landing page leads with a before/after drag slider in the hero, so the first thing a visitor does is pull a handle across a face and watch the skin clear. The whole page is built in React and TypeScript, fully responsive, and deployed on Vercel.
Most skincare sites bury their proof: you scroll past hero copy, past ingredient claims, past the founder story, and only near the bottom do you reach the before/after photos that actually sell the product. I wanted to invert that. The result, the moment you land, should be in your hands.
So the core idea became a draggable before/after reveal in the hero. No autoplay, no carousel of testimonials to wait through. You grab the handle, you drag, you see the change. Everything else on the page, the concern grid, the bestsellers, the team, the testimonials, was built to support that one decision.
Process
Every decision on the page serves one goal: make a visitor believe the product works before they have read a single line of copy.
That is why the hero leads with a slider you drag yourself. I could have shown a before/after as two static photos, or auto-played a wipe. Neither asks anything of you. Making someone physically pull the handle across a face changes the psychology. You control the reveal, so you trust the reveal. The transformation happens in your hand, at your pace, and that small act of participation does more for belief than any claim I could write.
From there the whole page is built as a single argument. The concern grid meets visitors at their actual problem, in their own words, before any product is mentioned. Bestsellers reveal a clinical-validation card on hover, so proof sits one gesture away from every product. The team section puts real faces and credentials behind the brand. Testimonials close the loop with more before-and-afters. Problem, proof, people, proof again. By the time you reach the footer, you have been given every reason to believe.
Under all of it is a hand-built React and TypeScript front end, fully responsive from desktop down to mobile and shipped on Vercel. No template, no page builder. The polish you feel is coded, not assembled.
Outcome
Shipped and live, designed and coded end to end by me, from the brand identity and logomark through to the deployed React build.
