Capital Art is a digital creative agency that helps people discover, buy and sell digital art pieces and NFT's. We focus on providing our users with the best possible tools and resources so that they can make the most informed financial decisions regarding crypto art. With our user-friendly platform, we make it easy for artists and collectors to stay on top of how the NFT market is moving. We want to help our users achieve financial freedom on web 3.0 by becoming a focal point for digital art.

They key problem was to create a brand that can feel luxurious and aiming for the high arts, my solution was inspired by the name of the agency "capital art". From the first moment I read the name of the agency, I couldn't help but think about drop caps and the way that drop caps are connected to art is through medieval illuminated manuscripts that featured those amazingly detailed and full of symbolisms. From there the main concept of the brand is taken, in this way capital art was born to become the starting point of a new chapter in art such as crypto art and web 3.0

During the investigation, more than 50 ancient manuscripts were analyzed to study the best way to create an icon capable of representing the brand.

When analyzing the data we found that in addition to the lighting process to which the pages of the manuscripts were subjected (which consisted of decorating parts of the illustrations with gold). There was another color that was considered almost as "expensive" as gold and this was purple, due to connotations of power we considered that this would be a perfect color for the brand and what we wanted to represent with it.
