Project Overview

"Uncinetto e Fantasia" is a brand dedicated to handmade crochet and artistic creations, crafted with passion and love. The brand seeks a warm, inviting, and creative identity that reflects the personal and artistic touch behind every piece. The logo should communicate craftsmanship, joy, and a sense of handmade elegance.

Objectives

Create a logo that visually represents the essence of crochet and handmade artistry.
Incorporate a warm, artistic, and inviting aesthetic.
Ensure the design is adaptable for branding across various mediums (social media, packaging, business cards, etc.).

Target Audience

Craft enthusiasts and lovers of handmade crochet items.
Customers looking for unique, handcrafted gifts and accessories.
Individuals who appreciate artisanal work and creativity.
I started by gathering information about the brand’s mission, values, and target audience. Since "Uncinetto e Fantasia" is a handmade crochet business, the logo needs to reflect warmth, creativity, and craftsmanship.
I collected references from handmade crafts, typography styles, and relevant design elements.
I then I brainstormed Ideas: Sketch rough ideas that incorporate crochet-related elements (e.g., hooks, yarn, handmade motifs).
I Defined the Visual Identity: Choose a style—should it be minimalist, vintage, or playful? The goal is to maintain a handcrafted, personal aesthetic.
After that I created hand-drawn concepts in Procreate to explore different logo compositions before moving to Adobe Illustrator.
I presented the initial design variations to the client in order to gather feedback.​I then continue refining until the chosen logo concept until fully represents the brand’s vision.
Finally I created some mock-ups.
