Ocean Art approached me about an ambitious project aimed at addressing two significant challenges. Firstly, the company has accumulated a substantial art inventory that needs to be organized and managed efficiently. Secondly, there is a pressing need to expand market presence beyond the current city, reaching new audiences in other cities and states across Brazil. Additionally, there is a recognized gap in the art community - the absence of a centralized platform that provides comprehensive information on art events, exhibitions, emerging and established artists, articles, and even discontinued art pieces that are no longer available for sale.

The process

Client Consultation: The project kicks off with in-depth consultations with the client to understand their vision, objectives, and the specific elements they envision for the modern and elegant design.
User Needs Analysis: A comprehensive analysis is conducted to determine the target audience's preferences, expectations, and pain points to ensure the redesign meets their needs.
Competitive Analysis: An evaluation of competitors' websites and modern design trends is undertaken to identify opportunities and benchmark against best practices.
Design Inspiration Gathering: The design team collects inspiration from various sources, such as design galleries, art, and industry-specific aesthetics, to guide the creative process.
Wireframing: Creating wireframes and prototypes helps visualize the website's layout and functionality. It allows for early testing of concepts and user interface design, ensuring that the user flow is efficient and user-friendly.
User flow: Here, the actual user flow is meticulously outlined. This includes defining the pathways users will take to achieve their objectives on the website, from entry points to goal completion.
My Role
In this multifaceted project, I assumed the role of the Product Owner, UX and Developer responsible for the overall strategy and success of the product. My responsibilities included defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with the organization's goals. I played a crucial role in bridging the gap between the development team and stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable tasks, and leading the team through the design and development phases.
