Conducting User Experience Research for a Website

Sweet Tangerine specializes in expert newborn care, providing tailored support for new parents. Users can find more information about the professional providing the care, understand services and get in contact. Focused on user experience and expert content, my goal was to craft an intuitive platform that embodies professionalism, compassion, and expertise in newborn care.

The previous website experienced user attrition due to overwhelming text on the homepage, making it challenging for visitors to locate essential service details and service area information promptly. The interface clutter, mismatched visuals not aligning with brand standards, and broken links led to a disjointed user experience. Additionally, the site's lack of responsiveness hindered accessibility across devices, posing a significant challenge for users seeking seamless navigation and clear service information.

The project's primary deliverable encompassed a comprehensive website redesign, supplemented by meticulously crafted personas and user journey mapping. The redesigned website now embodies a seamless fusion of functionality and aesthetics, offering an intuitive interface that aligns with user preferences. Accompanying personas and user journey maps provide invaluable insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points, enabling a tailored online experience. Together, these deliverables establish a user-centric platform, elevating engagement, clarity, and accessibility for visitors seeking newborn care services.

Creating user-friendly wireframes was a key part of the project. I used insights from the user journey research to arrange content efficiently.
