"I Hate My Accent"

This is an example email copy I wrote for one of my clients who started a niche business in self-improvement to help India-raised men with confidence issues.
Hi Suraj,
Time and time again, Indian guys from India tell me a similar story...
They are ashamed of their accent.
They think people are judging them, don’t like them, or worst of all.. don’t respect them.
Now I'll be honest, I was born in America so I don’t have an accent.
But I can tell you this. I have successful family members who DO have accents.
They have moved up the ranks of their jobs and even started their own successful businesses. Their accent did not hold them back.
To have better command and confidence of English, you should start with these things:
Take English classes, and speak English with friends or family to practice.
Go to events, cafes, and bars. Observe people's voice and mannerisms.
Go on IMDb and search for top rated movies/shows in English and watch them.
Go on Youtube (you can start from my channel) and search for this topic. LOTS of people have improved their English significantly in under a year. You can do it too.
At the end of the day, life for Indian guys is not that bad. We have good careers and families.
We just need to figure out the social aspect of life that was not taught to us.
Once you figure that out, life becomes so much easier.
Your anxiety will wash away. Your relationships will improve (or new ones will form) You will actually start to enjoy life.
Make it a goal to not feel sorry about yourself because you have an accent. Instead, make it your goal to be a more social and determined person.
Your life will improve if you do this.
