KRANK GOLF PRIMARY WEBSITE | 2022 | Hand-Coded, Web Page Design

My Role: Collaborating with another agency, adapting to their proprietary CMS, I designed and developed the homepage for Krank's latest official site, hand-coding it for desktop and mobile platforms using custom HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and custom graphics.

Project Description: Krank Golf sought to revamp its website and branding to align with the release of its latest golf driver, the Formula FIRE series. Due to Krank Golf's expansion, a larger agency assumed control of the website. The president of Krank Golf specifically requested my collaboration, appointing me as a Senior Web Designer to lead the implementation of the new design. I was granted backend access to their server, enabling me to design and hand-code the homepage in a controlled sandbox environment.

The client was so impressed with my homepage design and functionality that they decided to implement its overall design and UX/UI elements across the entire website.

Client Relationship: Krank Golf has been my client for over 14 years. During this time, I have developed three primary websites, over 20 mini-sites, landing pages, and click funnels for them, in addition to creating hundreds of graphics.

Challenge: Develop a UI/UX homepage design for an e-commerce website that operates on a proprietary CMS created by the company, distinct from WordPress or any other public CMS. This CMS lacks page builders and traditional plugins, presenting a unique design and implementation challenge.

Solution: Initially design and develop the homepage locally using Local by Flywheel. Conduct comprehensive testing of all UX/UI elements, ensuring responsive design, optimization, and ADA compliance. Subsequently, gain backend access to their CMS and proceed to write the necessary HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript to finalize the homepage for their management.
