Fortis Discipline & Accountability App UI Design

Overview

Fortis is built for users who struggle with consistency and follow through. The product design focuses on turning abstract goals into daily actions, supported by progress visibility and accountability. I designed the full app experience with connected components, shared styles, and scalable layouts, ensuring the system stays consistent as new features are added. The showcased screens represent selected key flows, while the underlying design system supports the entire product.

Problem & goal (Scroll Down to see more screens...)

Fortis is aimed at users who often start goals but struggle to stay consistent. The challenge was not adding more features, but designing a system that encourages daily execution and accountability without overwhelming the user. The goal was to create a structured, calm interface that supports habit building over time.

What I did

I designed the complete Fortis mobile app UI in Figma, covering all core product flows. My role included defining layout structure, interaction patterns, visual hierarchy, and building a connected design system. While the app contains many flows, a curated set of key screens is used for public showcase to communicate the product direction clearly.

The app and flow

The product is structured around several core areas that work together as a system:
Onboarding, introduces the product philosophy and sets expectations around discipline and accountability.
Home and daily execution, focuses on what the user needs to do today, including tasks, streaks, and XP.
Progress and consistency, visualizes user performance over time through charts and grids.
Goals and objectives, helps users break long term goals into manageable steps.
Brotherhood and social accountability, adds a community layer where users can see progress and rankings.
Profile and settings, allows users to manage personal data, preferences, and notifications.
For this case study, selected flows are showcased to highlight structure, usability, and system consistency, without exposing the full product.

Results & my role

The design provides Fortis with a scalable UI foundation that supports long term usage and feature growth. The system is consistent, easy to extend, and designed to reduce friction in daily use.
My role covered product thinking, UX structure, UI design, and design system creation.
