Discovery I worked closely with the Dune team to understand their user needs — from engineers needing granular system access data to leadership needing a higher-level view of risks. I audited the initial product designs to identify pain points and opportunities.

Exploration Through iterative wireframes and prototypes, I tested different ways of visualizing complex permission hierarchies. We prioritized clarity and fast access to critical information.

Design System Creation To ensure consistency and scalability, I developed a modular design system of UI components — from table structures to empty states — providing the Dune team with a foundation for future product extensions.

Final Design The new UI dramatically cleaned up the platform, offering intuitive flows, simplified data tables, and a more modern, minimal look. I documented key usage guidelines for the team to maintain quality after handoff. View Prototype
