Regulatory Compliance System Design

A founder came to me with a frustration he kept seeing in his market: businesses expanding across regions had no fast way to know which regulations applied to them. They were spending hours manually researching rules, or paying thousands for attorney consultations just to get a basic answer. There was no in-between option, slow and free, or fast and expensive.

We started with discovery, mapping out exactly which jurisdictions, which business types, and which regulatory categories mattered most. From there, I designed a system that lets a business answer a few guided questions and immediately see which rules apply to them, with a clear path to a specialist if their case was too complex for the system to resolve alone. I led design and development end to end, working closely with the founder at every stage so nothing drifted from his vision.
